Plants Vs Zombies Popcap Game

Plants Vs Zombies Popcap Game

Help! Zombies have invaded!

And don’t look now, but they’re coming for you next!

You’ll need to think fast and plant faster to fend off this mob of helmet-clad, pole-vaulting zombies. So grab your gardening gloves, because you’re in for a riotous fight with the fun-dead!

PopCap’s newest game, Plants vs. Zombies, is coming on May 5th… so check back soon!

Every so often PopCap turn out a game that is ridiculously fun and addictive. Silly little flash games for the most part but fun none the less, a bit of light relief. I can’t promise that this one will play well but just look at the art! So cute – you know, in a zombie flesh eating kind of way…   It looks like you have to pay for this one but just wait for a little while and they’ll be a free version somewhere or other 🙂

Red Dwarf is coming back!!

January 28, 2009

My all time favourite TV show is coming back on the air after 10 years. I just love red dwarf, the humour, the crappy effects, the ludicrous accents…..  Pure genius. Check out all the info on the BBC.

Fallout 3

January 28, 2009

Ok so this isn’t a review blog, it’s a crafty blog. Thing is, I’m a little bit of a geek and tend to play a lot of games and get excited about a lot of gadgets – it’s going to happen. Skip on past if I lose you and comment if you’re a fellow playah!

Fallout 3 is my new gaming obsession, it’s fun, challenging and occasionally bloody. It is addictive however, there are side quests or you can just wander about on the map for aggggeees randomly shooting things. It’s set in a post apocalyptic, dystopian universe where the bombs went off and the survivors are left to fend for themselves. Gritty stuff huh? Brilliant comic relief comes in the form of 40’s propaganda imagery littered throughout the game.

In list form (gotta love lists):

What I like:

  • completely open game play
  • graphic style is lovely
  • best companions ever
  • challenging but you can save whenever so it never becomes frustrating
  • I can play as a pink haired girl – nuff said
  • The mix of 1st person and action role-play combat systems works perfectly and stops fighting becoming repetitive.

What I don’t like:

  • I find it hard to see very well when it’s dark, you can fast forward to morning though
  • erm…
  • well…
  • I’ll have to get back to you on this, I’m still in the lust stage
